Allbritton Journalism Institute (AJI)

Allbritton Journalism Institute (AJI) is a nonprofit educational and experience-based program for political journalists. It runs a paid two-year fellowship for early career political journalists. The program is open to applicants of all backgrounds and various levels of journalism experience. Through the fellowship the participants learn from professional journalists and report for NOTUS, an online political publication. The Allbritton Journalism Institute is funded by a $20 million grant given by Robert Allbritton, the former publisher of POLITICO.
