Boston Globe Today

Boston Globe Today was a half-hour weekday news and sports television program jointly produced by Boston Globe Media and the New England Sports Network (NESN), marking the Globe's first expansion into television.

The show was announced in February 2023 and premiered April 18, 2023, anchored by television host Segun Oduolowu, with a Friday sports-focused edition hosted by Globe sports columnist Christopher L. Gasper. It aired Monday through Friday at 5 p.m. on NESN and streamed on the NESN 360 app and Globe.com. As of March 6, 2025, Boston Globe Media and NESN ended the daily program and laid off members of its production staff, with CEO Linda Henry saying the company would shift toward other video formats, including a planned weekly sports show with NESN hosted by Gasper.

The program featured segments with Oduolowu and Globe journalists discussing recent coverage, along with feature-style video packages on food, travel, and regional community stories.

The show is no longer airing; prior episodes were distributed via NESN, the NESN 360 app, and Globe.com.
