CBS Sports Radio 1500 AM, licensed as KHKA, is a commercial sports radio station in Honolulu, Hawaii, broadcasting national CBS Sports Radio network programming alongside local sports coverage.

History

The station's call sign changed to KHKA on September 30, 2010, after Ohana Broadcast Company sold KUMU 1500 to current owner Blow Up, LLC for $250,000, returning the frequency to a sports-talk format. In April 2013, the station rebranded as NBC Sports Radio 1500 AM, and on January 1, 2019, it became a CBS Sports Radio affiliate after NBC Sports Radio discontinued its full-time network programming. By May 2020, the station rebranded as "CBS 1500," adding CBS News Radio and Hawaii News Now programming to its lineup.

Notable works

KHKA is the official radio partner of Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors football and also carries local high school sports, San Francisco 49ers football and San Francisco Giants baseball broadcasts.
