Charles Falzon is a Canadian entertainment executive, educator, and university administrator. He served as dean of the Faculty of Communication and Design (later renamed The Creative School) at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) for ten years beginning in 2015, and previously chaired the RTA School of Media from 2010 to 2015. Before entering academic administration, he had a twenty-five-year career as an executive producer and distributor of television programming, feature films, and documentaries in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, producing nearly 2,000 hours of programming and being recognized with several Gemini Awards and an international Emmy Award nomination. His producing credits include Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000) and Extreme Babysitting (2013-2014). Falzon studied in the Radio and Television Arts program at what is now the RTA School of Media, and holds a master's degree in theology from the University of Toronto and a master's degree in spirituality from Regis College. The Creative School houses 26 media, communication, and design-related programs, including journalism.
