Chico Enterprise-Record

The Chico Enterprise-Record, E-R, founded in 1853 is a daily newspaper published in Chico, California. It is owned by Digital First Media, which is owned by Alden Global Capital. During the Camp Fire that destroyed the California city, Paradise, the editor of the E-R took a photo which then appeared in websites of the New York Times, Washington Post, and Time magazine. The Los Angeles Times commended E-R’s response to the devastation, that the staff operated at "the highest of levels.”
