Chris Rhoades is a Nebraska newspaper journalist and executive who, alongside his father Mark Rhoades, led Enterprise Media Group (EMG), the sixth-generation, family-owned community newspaper and printing company headquartered in Blair, Nebraska, until its January 2025 sale to Carpenter Media Group. EMG published a group of weekly newspapers and shoppers across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, including The Enterprise, Pilot-Tribune, Arlington Citizen, Oakland Independent, Lyons Mirror-Sun, West Point News and Wisner News Chronicle, plus, in Iowa, the Mapleton Press, Missouri Valley Times-News and The Dunlap Reporter. Rhoades has written for several of the group's Washington County, Nebraska titles, including the Pilot-Tribune and The Enterprise, and in 2011 received the Nebraska Press Association's Outstanding Young Nebraska Journalist Award for weekly newspapers.
