Biography

Somnath Guha is Vice President of Production and Engineering at ABP Group, the Kolkata-based Indian media conglomerate whose titles include Anandabazar Patrika and The Telegraph. He joined the company in 1985 as a graduate engineer trainee and has spent nearly four decades in its engineering and production functions, including work on the company's Barasat printing project. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of North Bengal with a specialization in materials management from the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, and is a member of the World Printers Forum's South Asian chapter.
