Biography

Jason Hicks worked for more than nine years as assistant editor for American Trade Magazines, the Crain Communications division that publishes American Coin-Op, American Drycleaner, and American Laundry News, and served three of those years as web editor. He managed the initial launch of the three websites under the American Trade Magazines banner, directing staff efforts and acting as liaison to the software vendor responsible for the technical build. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Weber State University. Following his editorial career, Hicks moved into digital marketing and web development roles, including senior web developer positions and, most recently, marketing and communications work at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
