The Jacksonville Daily Record, published online at JaxDailyRecord.com, is a weekly business, financial and legal newspaper serving Jacksonville, Florida, and the official newspaper of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Duval County Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Founded in 1912 as the Financial News & Daily Record, the paper was built by founder John McManus and later led by three generations of the Bailey family, starting with McManus's son-in-law James Bailey. In 2017, after 43 years leading the company, James Bailey Jr. sold the Daily Record and its Realty-Builder Connection publication to Matt Walsh, owner of Sarasota-based Observer Media Group. Angie Campbell, a longtime employee who started as a receptionist in the 1990s, was named the paper's fifth publisher in January 2022; she died June 25, 2026.
The Daily Record has served as Duval County's primary publisher of legal notices and court filings for more than a century, and produces "From the Corner Office," a podcast hosted by Business Observer managing editor Mark Gordon.
