Lemont Suburban Life is a weekly community newspaper covering Lemont, Illinois, part of Suburban Life Media, a division of Shaw Media (Shaw Local) based in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Previously published as the Lemont Reporter/Met. Suburban Life Publications was sold by publisher Jack Kubik to Liberty Group Publishing in January 1999; Liberty Group was acquired by Fortress Investment Group and rebranded GateHouse Media in 2006. Shaw Media purchased the Suburban Life titles from GateHouse Media on Oct. 1, 2012, and in October 2013 renamed all of its DuPage, Cook and Will County weeklies, including the Lemont paper, to the "[Municipality] Suburban Life" format.
