Lewisville Leader is a weekly community newspaper covering Lewisville, Texas, published by Star Local Media.

History

Published its first edition Thursday, June 16, 1960, as a weekly local paper that also provided Lewisville coverage for the Denton Record-Chronicle; Allen Bogan was its first editor/publisher. It absorbed the Lewisville Enterprise, a rival paper dating to 1872, in January 1962. It is now part of Star Local Media, which was purchased in January 2022 by Rick and Elizabeth Rogers through their company, 121 Media, LLC.
