Biography

Robert F. Martinelli is president and CEO of Today Media, a family-owned regional media company publishing Delaware Today, Main Line Today, Hudson Valley, Westchester Magazine, Bethesda Magazine, and Delaware Business Times, among other titles. He joined the second-generation family business in 1982 as publisher of Delaware Today, launched Main Line Today in 1996, and in September 2014 launched the Delaware Business Times. Today Media has also published the Delaware Valley Italian-American Herald for the past several years. Martinelli is a son of the late Angelo R. Martinelli (1927–2018), the six-term mayor of Yonkers, New York, who founded the family's media business in 1948 when he purchased the Yonkers printing company Gazette Press. Martinelli holds a law degree from Pace University School of Law and is admitted to the New York State Bar, though he does not currently practice; he is a graduate of Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx and Holy Cross College in Massachusetts.
