Biography

J. Tyler Morris is a member of the Morris family, owners of Morris Communications, a diversified American media company with newspapers, magazines, and radio stations. He joined Morris Communications in 1989 and worked at the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal in Texas, The St. Augustine Record in Florida, and Gray's Sporting Journal, a hunting and fishing literary magazine acquired by Morris Media Network in 1989. He also served as vice president of the Morris Communications Cowboy Publishing Group, which oversees the company's equine magazine titles including Western Horseman. Morris is currently chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Texas Aerospace Services in Abilene, Texas.
