The Tan Siu Lin Library is the library of Palau Community College (PCC) and, with over 47,000 volumes, the largest library in the Republic of Palau. It serves the college's academic programs and the wider community.
Palau Community College developed into a technical institution beginning in 1972 and received full accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in June 1977, with reaffirmations approximately every five to six years since. The Tan Siu Lin Library opened in April 2009.
The library is Palau's official depository library for publications issued by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC), the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the Food and Agriculture Organization, and UNESCO. It also maintains an extensive Micronesia-Pacific Collection emphasizing Palau and the wider Pacific region, along with an International Collection of more than 2,500 volumes in languages including Japanese, Chinese, French, Hungarian, German, Filipino, Korean, Czech, Dutch, Hebrew, Italian, Hindi, Swedish, and Spanish.
The library is open to students and the general public, offering reference, circulation, and instruction services, 20 desktop computers, and outreach programs including Education USA and the US Armed Forces Veterans Association of Palau.
