Psyche is a digital magazine linking psychology, philosophy and the arts to explore the human condition, published by Aeon Media Group Ltd, a registered charity. It publishes how-to guides, short essays and films across a multidisciplinary range including psychology, philosophy, history and anthropology.
Psyche's parent publication, Aeon, was founded in London in September 2012 by Paul and Brigid Hains, an Australian couple, and became a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission on July 1, 2016; its US affiliate, Aeon America, is registered as a 501(c)(3) charity. Aeon launched Psyche as a sister publication in April 2020. Psyche's editorial director is Brigid Hains, who also holds that role at Aeon; its deputy editor is Christian Jarrett, founding editor of the British Psychological Society's Research Digest.
