Biography

Meinert Toberer is circulation director for Nevada News Group, the Eagle Valley Publishing-owned company operating the Nevada Appeal, The Record-Courier, the Lahontan Valley News, and the Northern Nevada Business Weekly, a role he joined in January 2025 after more than 12 years in newspaper circulation, most recently with Gannett Publishing Services and the Reno Gazette Journal. At Gannett, he served as senior director of distribution, managing distribution operations across 15 print sites in five states, overseeing 21 distribution centers and daily delivery to 27,000 retail and travel outlets and 400,000 homes. He previously worked in distribution management at Record Searchlight in Redding, California. He holds a degree from Humboldt State University.
