The School of Journalism and Mass Media (JAMM) offers bachelor's degrees in advertising, broadcasting and digital media, film and television, journalism, and public relations, along with an undergraduate certificate in social media management, a master's degree in emerging media, and graduate certificates in media production and strategic media management.
JAMM is Idaho's only ACEJMC-accredited program for journalism and mass communication, accredited since 2014. The curriculum requires students to take at least 75 of 120 graduation credits outside the school, reflecting a philosophy that media professionals should be broadly educated.
The School of Journalism and Mass Media operates within the University of Idaho's College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences in Moscow, Idaho.
