Biography

Jeffrey Wolf is a media and entertainment distribution executive. He served as chief distribution officer for Scripps Networks, a division of The E.W. Scripps Company, where he oversaw distribution of Scripps' national networks, including Ion Media channels and the five Katz networks, across broadcast, cable, satellite, over-the-top, and streaming platforms; under his leadership, network reach grew to between 90 and 97 percent of U.S. households. He left Scripps in 2023 to relaunch The Lobo Group, a consultancy he had originally founded in 2011 that advises programmers and platforms on content distribution and monetization. He also serves as an operating partner at Velocity Capital Management, a private equity firm focused on the sports, media, and entertainment sectors. Earlier in his career, Wolf was executive vice president of U.S. syndication sales at Sony Pictures Television, an account executive at King World, and a research analyst at Seltel. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy from The George Washington University.
